Cast Member for a Day

Welcome to those of you joining me from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the final stop on our Magical Blogorail. This month we’re chatting about what we would do if we could be a Disney cast member for a day. This theme really excited me, because I have spent the last few months really examining this question: What do I want to be when I grow up?  I’ve done so many different things over the years, and very few of them have been quite right. I could fill any number of roles at Disney and would probably enjoy them all at some level (except being a character – I don’t think I could handle that!). Favorite Disney Holiday Plus

Welcome to those of you joining me from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Final stop on our Magical Blogorail. There’s something about a mass of humanity that puts me into sensory overload – the thousand...

Sidonie Smith One Woman Disney Medley

I know, I’ve been quiet a lot lately. But today I’ve got someone to introduce to you who is anything but quiet: Sidonie Smith is an accomplished singer, actress, and musician – and as much of a Disney geek as you and me. To celebrate the launch of her One Woman Disney Medley on YouTube, she’s agreed to join us today to answer a few questions and share some of her work: Sidonie, welcome to Return to Disney! Thanks for joining me. You’re an accomplished actress, singer, and musician. Have you ever performed in a Disney production? Yes– two! I had the pleasure of being a cast member at Walt Disney World! I performed in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in a show called “Safari Celebration”. When I moved to Europe, I got to play my absolute dream role– the title role in Disney’s AIDA. The whole show took place outside on the...

Disney Dream Portrait Series: Russel Brand as Captain Hook

I recently discovered the Disney Dream Portrait series by fine art photographer Annie Leibovitz. Her most recent work features Russel Brand as Captain Hook. Absolutely beautiful stuff! I’m off to search out a source of prints. Ms. Leibovitz’s work on the Disney Dream Portrait series has been featured in several fashion and lifestyle magazines, but I’m not quite desperate enough to cut out pages from a glossy and tape them to the wall! I’ll let you know what I find 🙂 Pin It
