Giving Disney Cruise Line Another Chance

I’ve written about why I had no plans to try the Disney Cruise Line, but I might just give it another chance. I got an email from Disney last night announcing the Kids Sail Free promotion. With two full-price adult fares on selected Mexican Riviera cruises, children are free. That might just make it worth trying a cruise. Unfortunately with four kids, we would need two staterooms, which means I’m not sure we could actually get the kids sail free discount. The website won’t allow it, since it requires an adult for each stateroom which means we’d have one adult and two kids in each room – making us ineligible for the discount. That’s one of the difficulties of stepping outside the 2 adults and 2 kids box – more often than not when we travel, it’s just not as easy to make reservations. Will the Kids Sail Free...

Splitting Up On Disney Cruises

Have a Very Happy Thursday, as Pooh would say. Thursdays are always fun around here, because it’s Blog Hop day! Thanks to Lisa from Babes in Disneyland for hosting, as always. This week’s theme is family, and that actually turned out to be a bit difficult. Almost everything I write about here centers around my family! As I’ve been thinking it over today, I realized there is one thing I haven’t covered here at Return to Disney: the Disney Cruise Line. While I was running my launch party giveaway in April, I reviewed the Disney Parks videos, including one about the Disney Cruise Line. We hope to take our family on a Disney vacation every year or so, and we’re expecting that we’ll probably branch out from the two American theme parks eventually.
