Let the Memories Begin Tour

When I heard about the Let the Memories Begin Tour sponsored by Disney Parks, I couldn’t wait to check it out. The publicity for the tour was sketchy – I had to call on folks on Twitter to find out dates, times, and locations! In retrospect, that should have been my first clue. Disney Parks was set up in a back corner of Water Tower Place in Chicago, Illinois. We actually had a hard time finding it. There was no crowd, which was nice. The rest of the experience was a bit of a let down. They had three automated photo booths set up – the kind you see at the mall – where a maximum of two people could sit down, watch a brief movie about Disney parks, and have four pictures taken against Disney backgrounds. After the pictures, we got a printout of one picture and a...

Weekend Roundup: Grad Nite, Chewbacca, and Legos

It’s been one of those weeks where work, kids, and life took over. I didn’t write as many informational, helpful articles here on Return to Disney as I hoped, but sometimes you have to relax and just geek out on fluffy stuff too. On Monday, I offered tips for beating the heat at Walt Disney World Tuesday, I did some reminiscing and dreaming about our next trip On Wednesday, the geeking really began and I shared some of my favorite Lego Disney videos from YouTube. Thursday was Blog Hop day and I had to call in reinforcements. On Friday I was busy finishing up an article on ride height requirements for Chip & Co, which I shared here too. On Saturday morning we reached our 300th new follower in May, and I got to draw the final winner in the Return to Disney blog giveaway! This week, I also...

Weekend Roundup: Attacked by Pirates!

This was one of those weeks that just flies by and leaves you shocked that it’s already over! On Monday, I got to draw another giveaway winner! And I have a sneaking suspicion I’ll be doing another drawing next week too. There’s still time to enter! Tuesday I guest-hosted the Tiggerific Tuesday blog hop! I’m still working on reading through all the new blogs I’ve found, but I’ll get to everyone! On Wednesday, I took off for a romantic getaway to EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Thursday, as always, was blog hop day! And just my luck, we were attacked by pirates! For Foodie Friday this week, I discussed yet another way Disney exceeds expectations, in their handling of special dietary needs. A special thanks to Return To Disney’s Featured Sponsors: I hope you’ll join me next week for more Disney magic! Want posts delivered as soon as they’re published?...
