Who’s Ready for Spring?

Thanks to Focused on the Magic for hosting Wordless Wednesday! The theme this week is “March calendar #8221; It has been a long, cold winter, and I’m ready for Spring – even if the weather isn’t. To hurry things along, I’m sharing one of my favorite moments from our trip to Walt Disney World in January. That’s my horde, eating ice cream. In January. Take that, Winter! Pin It

Kill Refurb Marry Aerial Spinner Rides

In the middle of the December crazies, one of my blogging buddies invited me to join the newest Disney blog hop, Kill Refurb Marry, hosted by Mouse on the Mind. We simply could not go to Walt Disney World without doing the Safari Breakfast. It begins with the early 8:00 seating of Donald’s Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom: That’s me pre-coffee by the way, trying to keep those two little boys from completely...

Disney Storytelling in Every Detail

This week’s Wordless Wednesday, hosted by Focused on the Magic, has a theme that’s very close to my heart: Storytelling. Every theme park has some sort of water mister to help guests cool down on hot summer days. Disney storytelling takes it one step further. Why have something that’s just functional, when you could use it to fire the imagination? That’s exactly what Disney has done with these tikis. They set up a creative scenario, and let my son tell the story! What could be more magical than that? Pin It
