Haunted Mansion at Home

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Disney’s Haunted Mansion. I love the suspension of disbelief, the ability to leave reality at the door and believe, whole-heartedly, in ghosts. I also love that when Disney set out to create a haunted house, they started with a story and let the setting flow naturally from that. I avoid most haunted houses because they rely on cheap thrills – gore and startle effects – instead of digging deeper and finding the story that will entice you to keep coming back. My Disney Must-Haves

Welcome to those of you joining me from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail. Lots of them. When we visited in 2010, I didn’t take nearly enough pictures, and I goofed up and deleted almost all of our Animal Kingdom photos. On our next trip, I want to come home with plenty of blog fodder! Mickey Ears. I’ve never actually had a pair of Mickey ears. Not even as a kid growing up in Southern California! A new Cookbook. Food is one of those things that take me back to happy places and happy times. I can’t necessarily hop a plane on a Friday afternoon just because I feel like going to dinner at...
