If you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week, you’ll see something a little different. Our friends at American Tourister have been named the “Official Luggage of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts.”

You’ll see billboards and bench signage, but Disney Imagineers and American Tourister really had some fun integrating luggage into the immersive atmosphere of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check out the props on Sunset Blvd:

Personally, I tend to be a little skeptical when it comes to anything being named the official whatever of something. Chocolate milk, apparently, is the official beverage of Halloween. It seems kind of silly to me. Other than being overly sweet, what does chocolate milk have to do with Halloween? And who decides these things anyway?

I can see why Disney chose American Tourister’s products as the official luggage of their resorts. Everything we love about Disney resorts – their attention to detail, their emphasis on guest experience, even their sense of fun – is represented in luggage form. It makes sense.
